Flowers and fruits
Blossoming, even sparsely coloured, of first months of the year, is all the more striking as there are not leaves still. The blossoming of the conifers which often takes place in March is hardly visible, apart from the pollen dispersed on the ground.
Blooms per month is given as an indication for France, knowing that local conditions and weather influence considerably. From one region to another and even within the same city, from one location to another, more sheltered from the wind, for example, a gap of fifteen days is common. The northern regions are late one to two months (Denmark or St. Petersburg). From one year to another, there are differences, as I could record it by taking specific trees: Dates of blossoming and appearance of leaves determined with some trees, since 1992, in Paris region.
