Hello I live near the Allier, and I wanted to know why a certain type of willow begin to drop some of the drops were not others. The trees in question are about 20m from the river and this was not a drop falls, while the previous summer, it was almost like a very light rain. Is the sap that falls? What variety of willow can it be? How a willow can drop as much liquid? Thank you in advance jll

hello jll This year it is returned, weeping willows. Hey, a little rain-rain for us to point out. In fact, it may be that this rain is the sap, and comes from insect bites, like aphids, mealy bug and leafhopper. It would be prudent to inspect the place of our dear willow foliage. Here is a link that may illustrate this: http://www.jardinier-amateur.fr/jardin/cicadelle_ecumeuse_crachat_du_coucou, 523.html things come to those who wait and do not stay in his corner willow. leoia.
