Trees which do not require pruning

All trees must not be pruned. It is notably the case of most conifers. They manage themselves the death of the useless branches, which lack light. The low branches and the internal branches which lost their needles or their scales die while the conifer develops in height. It is necessary to cut these dead branches.
Similarly, for palm trees, that we cannot properly talk about pruning, a maintenance work consists in cutting dead palms as near as possible of the trunk, to avoid for example that these masses of dead vegetation becomes the landmark of animals, of rats, of insects.
